Who are we?
Energie Genie was founded in 2020 by Oliver Rees, who, after installing numerous solar PV and
battery storage systems for his customers, kept hearing the same question: why wasn’t there a
simpler way to manage energy usage without constant manual alterations?
There was a clear need for a product that could be smarter, self-regulating, and optimize a
customer’s energy consumption. But was it achievable? Realistic? Viable? The only way to discover
was to take a leap of faith into the unknown….
Energie Genie is a patent-pending smart device that connects to your Solar PV Hybrid inverter,
effortlessly managing energy generation, battery storage, weather forecasting, smart tariffs, grid
stability, energy reduction, electric vehicle charging, and more.
After designing, developing, and testing the product with a select group of customers, we’re excited
to share Energie Genie with you, giving you your very own Virtual Forecasting Assistant.
Based in sunny West Sussex on the South Coast, Energie Genie is run by husband-and-wife team
Ollie & Tasha Rees. We take pride in working with small, independent, local suppliers to create the
product and service that we pride ourselves on.
